The
Samurai Bushido (Japanese: 武士道; bushidō, "way of the warrior"), consists of a few maxims handed down by oral tradition or coming from the pen of warrior-savants...the code achieved its greatest weight between the 11th and 14 centuries C.E. and took the form of seven (7) virtues. Compare it to Tzun Tzu's Art of War or the Strategikon in Greek, the handbook the Byzantines used to turn back the Avars, Huns, Goths, and Persians; or even - as a philosophy of personal moderation the
Meditations of Marcus Aurelius. Use your mastery of
Bushido to achieve peaceful, glorious victory without ostentation. On with the games!

The 7 virtues are:
義 – Gi – Rectitude
勇 – Yu – Courage
仁 – Jin – Benevolence
礼 – Rei – Respect
誠 – Makoto – Honesty
名誉 – Meiyo – Honor,Glory
忠義 – Chūgi – Loyalty
